2nd IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON
Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications
WiMob 2006
June 19-21, 2006
Delta Centre-Ville Hotel
Montreal, Canada
Purpose
The tremendous advances in wireless communications and mobile computing,
combined with the rapid evolution in smart appliances and devices, generates
new challenges and problems requiring interactions between different network
layers and applications in order to offer advanced mobile services. We
invite researchers, practitioners and others interested in wireless
communications, mobile networking and ubiquitous computing to participate in
the second IEEE International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing,
Networking and Communications (WiMob 2006) to be held in Montréal, Canada on
June 19-21st, 2006.

Submission Formatting
Full papers (not solely abstracts) must be submitted for review. Only
original papers, unpublished nor submitted for publication elsewhere, can be
submitted.
Papers must be written in English and should follow the suggested
instructions in the template file available in both MS Word (.DOC) format or
Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) format. The first page should include paper title,
abstract, list of keywords indicating the paper topic area and symposium,
the authors' full names, affiliations and complete addresses, telephone
numbers and e-mail addresses.
Preferred maximum paper length is 8 printed pages (10-point font) including
figures, graphics and tables. However, papers for review of up to 9 pages in
length will also be accepted, although accepted papers exceeding 8 pages
will be charged an overlength fee of $100 for the 9th page. Under no
circumstances may any submission exceed 9 pages. Papers in excess of 9 pages
shall not be considered for review nor publication.
Papers can be submitted in MS Word or PDF (preferred) files. All paper
submissions will be carefully reviewed by at least three experts and
returned to the author(s) with comments to ensure the high quality of
accepted papers. The authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their
paper will be presented at the conference. At least one author of each
accepted paper must be duly registered for the conference in order for the
paper to appear in the proceedings and be scheduled in the conference
program.
Submission Process
Information available soon.
Best Paper Award
The Best Paper Award honours the author(s) of a paper of exceptional merit
addressing a topic related to one of the three symposia and presented at the
conference. The selection will be based on the paper originality,
